1. Information we collect

The website collects or stores:

• The Google Account email address you use with Google Play and supply for Early Access.
• Its approval status: authorised or failed.
• Your preferred language: English or French.
• Necessary technical request information generated when you use the website, as described below.

Beyond these Early Access details and necessary technical information: You do not need to provide any information about yourself or your child.

2. Early Access

Early Access lets an appropriate adult tester request access to Nice Education applications through Google Play closed testing. To join Early Access, you provide the Google Account email address associated with the Google Play Store account you use to download and test the app. Nice Education does not create this Google Account or ask for a separate personal contact address.

Nice Education stores the supplied Google Account email address, its approval status and your preferred language in its website database. Authorised means the applicant has been approved for access. Failed means the supplied Google Account email address cannot be used for the intended Google Play closed test.

3. How approval works

1. The website admin manually adds the supplied Google Account email address to the relevant Closed testing tester list in Google Play Console for the account that publishes Nice Education applications.
2. Once the Google Account email address has been added to the appropriate Google Play Closed testing list, the website admin can approve the application. Its approval status becomes authorised. If the address cannot be used for the closed test, its approval status may become failed.
3. When you are approved, Nice Education sends an email containing an access/download link to the supplied Google Account email address.
4. The link passes through the Nice Education website. The website recognises the authorised access, stores an authorised-access cookie in your browser and directs you to the appropriate Google Play closed-test or download destination.

If you return from another device, another browser, a new browser session or without the authorised-access cookie, you can submit the same Google Account email address again. Nice Education checks the stored Early Access details for that address. If its approval status is authorised, the website recognises you as authorised again, restores the access cookie and provides the appropriate download links.

4. How we use your Google Account email address

Nice Education uses the supplied Google Account email address to administer Early Access, arrange Google Play closed testing and communicate approval and access information. We also use this address for communication concerning the relevant application and Nice Education application availability.

The website owner may personally contact Early Access participants at the supplied Google Account email address about Nice Education applications, including relevant updates or a new application's availability.

The supplied Google Account email address is stored in the Nice Education website database. We do not sell or rent it, or provide it to unrelated third parties for advertising, data brokerage or unrelated marketing purposes.

5. Your preferred language

We store your preferred language as English or French with the Google Account email address supplied for Early Access. Initially, this is the language in use on the website when you apply: English if you apply on the English site, or French if you apply on the French site.

If we already recognise you as an authorised Early Access participant, changing the website language also updates the preferred language stored with your application. Switching to French updates it to French; switching to English updates it to English.

We use your stored preferred language for subsequent approval, access and application-related messages sent to the supplied Google Account email address. This means future messages use your most recently selected preference, even if we contact you later or you use another device. We do not infer the message language again from your browser.

6. Cookies

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. The website uses these necessary functional and security cookies:

• Session: where required, a session cookie maintains your session by linking your browser to session information stored on the website server.
• Language preference: a cookie remembers whether you have selected English or French.
• Authorised access: a cookie lets the website recognise that your browser has approved Early Access and provide the correct download links. It is not an advertising cookie.
• Form security: the website uses a security cookie to help protect form submissions against forged requests where applicable.

You can remove cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may end a session, forget your language choice or require you to identify yourself again for Early Access. The website uses no advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Google Play closed testing

Where required for closed testing, the website admin adds the supplied Google Account email address to the relevant Google Play Console Closed testing tester list. Google receives and holds that address for this purpose, in addition to the record stored by Nice Education.

Google Play is an external service with its own privacy information and terms. Nice Education does not supply the submitted Google Account email address to unrelated advertising or data-broker services.

8. Technical information

Normal website operation involves technical request information such as your IP address, browser or user-agent information, pages requested and request timing. Server infrastructure may retain ordinary request logs for operation, troubleshooting and security. Nice Education does not use this information to create advertising profiles.

9. Analytics and advertising

The website uses no advertising networks, advertising trackers or behavioural advertising. No third-party analytics are currently installed. Functional and security cookies are not used for advertising or behavioural tracking.

10. Children's privacy

Nice Education provides educational resources for children aged 6–12 and is designed with children's privacy in mind. Children are not required to create public profiles. The website has no public comments or chat and does not ask for learning results or child profile information.

An Early Access application is intended to be handled by a parent, guardian or another appropriate adult tester. The only item you supply is the Google Account email address associated with the Google Play account used to obtain the app. The website also records approval status and preferred language as described above. We do not ask for a child's email address or child profile information.

Other than the Early Access details described above: You do not need to provide any information about yourself or your child.

11. Nice Education Android apps

This policy covers the website. Nice Education Android apps may have their own app-specific privacy information describing their actual behaviour. Nice Education aims to minimise personal-data collection in its educational apps; this does not mean every app has identical features or technical behaviour.

12. Data security

Website administration requires an authorised administrator account. We aim to minimise the information we store and limit its handling to the people and services needed to operate the website and Early Access. No website or email system can guarantee absolute security.

13. Data retention and deletion

Early Access information does not have a fixed automatic expiry period. We do not delete records simply because a fixed amount of time has passed. Information remains stored unless it is deleted through normal administration or following a deletion request.

You can request deletion of information associated with your Early Access application by emailing jackmariaeducation@gmail.com. We do not promise a specific response or deletion timeframe.

14. External services

Links to Google Play take you to Google's service. Google and other external websites handle information under their own privacy information and terms. This website policy does not describe all of their practices.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website or to clarify how information is handled. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.

16. Questions about privacy

If you have a question about privacy or would like us to delete information associated with your Early Access application, you can email jackmariaeducation@gmail.com.
