This Privacy Policy describes how the Odd and Even Android application handles information when it is installed and used. It applies only to the app.
1. Personal information
The Odd and Even Android app does not collect, transmit, sell or share personal information about the people using it.
The app does not need a child's or parent's name, email address, date of birth, location, contact information or user profile. The publisher does not receive this information through the app.
2. Accounts and sign-in
The installed app has no user account and requires no registration or sign-in. A child can open it and start practising directly, without a username, password or email address.
3. Information stored on the device
The app may save small amounts of information locally on the Android device so it behaves as expected when opened again. These preferences can include:
- the selected app language, English or French; and
- other local preferences needed for the learning experience.
These preferences stay on the device. The app does not send them to the publisher or synchronise them with a remote service.
4. Practice, quiz and result information
During use, the app processes the numbers or questions shown, the child’s Odd or Even answers, whether those answers were correct, quiz progress and results, including score and star information. This information is needed to provide the learning activities and show the quiz result.
This processing takes place on the device. Practice activity and quiz results are not transmitted to the publisher or to an analytics service. The publisher does not receive this information through the app.
5. Internet and network access
Normal learning activity works offline. Practice, quizzes and results do not depend on the publisher's online services. The app does not attempt network access during normal use or upload practice activity or results to the publisher.
Downloading and installing the app through Google Play happens outside the installed application and is outside the scope of this policy.
6. Advertising
Odd and Even contains no advertising. It uses no advertising networks, advertising identifiers for advertising or third-party advertising SDKs. A child's practice session is not used to display advertising.
7. Analytics and tracking
The app uses no analytics, behavioural tracking, advertising tracking or third-party tracking technologies. The publisher does not build profiles of children or other users from their activity in Odd and Even.
8. Device permissions
Odd and Even does not ask for sensitive device information or features it does not need. It does not request access to location, contacts, the camera, microphone, photos, personal files or notifications.
Normal learning activity does not attempt to access the network. Colour and sound are used as learning cues. Sound is generated by the app; playing it does not require microphone access or recording. The app does not listen to the child.
9. Third-party services inside the app
The app does not integrate third-party services for advertising, analytics, social-media tracking, user accounts, behavioural profiling or cloud storage of learning activity.
Google Play distributes the app; it is not a learning service embedded in Odd and Even. Installing from Google Play does not mean the app sends a child's learning activity to Google.
10. Children's privacy
Odd and Even is designed for children and families. It does not ask a child to provide personal information, create a public profile, register an account, communicate with strangers, upload content or make personal information public.
The publisher does not knowingly collect children's personal information through the Odd and Even app.
11. Data sharing and sale
The publisher does not sell user data from Odd and Even. The app does not share personal user information with advertisers, data brokers or analytics providers because it does not collect that information in the first place.
12. Data security and minimisation
Avoiding information the app does not need helps reduce privacy risk. Odd and Even therefore carries out learning activities locally and avoids unnecessary collection or transmission of user information.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This policy may be updated if Odd and Even changes in a way that affects privacy, or if clarification is needed. The updated policy will be published on this page and its Last updated date will be changed.

Odd and Even is an Android application that helps children recognise odd and even numbers through visual patterns, colour, sound, guided practice and quizzes. It is free to use, with no subscription.
